From our roots in international outreach and cross-cultural communication, Language Access Academy has continually evolved to meet the growing demands of a dynamic, multilingual world. We have trained over 6,000 interpreters, partnered with major healthcare institutions and educational agencies, and contributed to statewide and national initiatives to strengthen language access policies and certification standards. Today, Language Access Academy is shaping the future of the language services profession on a global scale. Through legislative advocacy, curriculum development, and leadership roles in national organizations such as the National Council on Interpreting in Health Care (NCIHC), the American Translators Association (ATA), the Texas Association of Healthcare Interpreters and Translators (TAHIT), and the Certification Commission for Healthcare Interpreters (CCHI), our influence extends far beyond the classroom.
